Southern California Japanese Scholars Forumとは
Southern California Japanese Scholars Forum (SCJSF)はロサンゼルスを中心とした大学や企業の日本人研究者や起業家など垣根を越えた異分野交流を目指したコミュニティです。SCJSFは、南カリフォルニアにある大学（UCLA、UCSB、UCI、UCSD、Caltech、USCなど）や企業に所属する日本人研究者、学生、大学院生また短期長期留学生、そして起業家などの方々に交流の場をご提供しています。定期的（２、３カ月おき）に様々な研究分野における専門家を数名招聘して講演会を開催しております。過去の講演会では、物理、生物、化学、医療、神経科学、分子生物学、宇宙工学、ナノテク、電子工学、機械工学、情報科学、建築、政治、経済、文学、ビジネス、金融工学など文系、理系に限らず様々な分野の専門家に講演をして頂きました。SCJSFはUCLAのビジネススクールの学生で構成される団体Japan America Business Association (JABA)と共同で活動しています。異分野交流に興味のある方は誰でも参加可能です。学生の方々の参加も歓迎します。
